1. autumnal equinox – the time when the length of daylight and the length of night time is about the same or 12 hours each
2. density - the amount of matter compacted into a given volume
3. liquid – a state of matter that has definite volume but no definite shape
4. gas – a state of matter that has no definite shape or volume
5. solid – is a state of matter that has a definite shape and a definite volume
6. mass – the amount of matter in an object.

9. amphibian – an animal that has a backbone and lives in the water when it is young and on land when it is an adult
